Mobile Applications for KUMC Guide

Many physicians and medical students are utilizing mobile applications to help them manage busy schedules, practice evidence-based medicine, and more efficiently study. In fact, a recent survey of medical students found that those in clinical clerkships and medical residents use mobile devices more often than their first and second year counterparts. In order to help the University of Kansas Medical Center community stay on top of the most recent mobile applications, the Medical Education Technology department has created a Mobile Apps for KUMC Subject Guide that highlights (and indexes) numerous medical mobile apps.

The Subject Guide is hosted by the A.R. Dykes Library and can be found on both the Library website (under "Subject Guides") and through the Medical Education Technology homepage (under Quick Links -- Recommended Apps).

If there are applications you would like to see added to the guide, please email Dr. Mark Eaton or Christina Magnifico in the Medical Education Technology department. You can also leave a comment below with recommendations or suggestions.
